Progressing cavity pump MX

Thanks to its modular construction and robust design the progressing cavity pumps MX are suitable for use in hygiene applications and in the chemical, paint, lacquer and paper industries. The MX is also suitable for other industrial applications where gentle and low-pulsation delivery is important. The choice of materials, structural arrangement of the O-rings and surface quality satisfy the directives in accordance with EHEDG, QHD and GPM. A special feature of these progressing cavity pumps is their design using Even Wall® technology. The stator jacket is adapted to the inside contour of the elastomer has a standard elastomer layer 4 to 12 mm thick. This provides for significantly higher stability under pressure.

High performance, minimal space requirements - the MX pump is named cav Top Product of the Year 2011.

A delivery rate of 200,000 l/h at 20 bar – these are the key data of the MX100 progressing cavity pump from KNOLL, which, with a length of approx. 2.7 m, requires relatively little space. With its large free ball passage, the MX100 has advantages in applications that require gentle product delivery. It allows the delivery of granular and lumpy products in pieces up to 110 mm in diameter. The pump design has no dead space, and all parts that come into contact with material are made of stainless steel. This, in combination with high-quality elastomers, offers resistance to corrosion, temperature and chemicals. Furthermore, the MX100 is very easy to clean. CIP and SIP cleaning are standard. This means that the pump can be cleaned on site without leaving residues and without dismantling. With all these properties, the MX100 satisfies the directives in accordance with EHEDG, QHD and GMP. Thanks to EvenWall® technology, the MX100 is highly resistant to pressure. It can also handle pressures up to 80 bar (1160 psi).
